What we do?
Three Pillars of HRRIC
We are determined to look beyond the conventional ways of harm reduction. We adopt an evidence-based approach to support the policymakers, social planners and product developers to deliver innovative harm reduction techniques and further reduce individual drug-related harm. Our three pillars constitute- Research, Innovation, and Impact.
We are committed to reducing the negative health, social and legal impact of substance use through a multidisciplinary approach. Through research and clinical studies, we aim to create a robust and credible analysis of substances that will not only fill up the research gap in harm reduction but also spur interest across the research community to contribute towards healthier, safer communities.
Its time to innovate! We strive to explore opportunities to modernize the methods and techniques which will pillar harm reduction, prevention, treatment, and it’s enforcement. By collaborating and supporting entities who are developing healthier alternative, we want to stimulate the process of harm reduction.
With research and innovation in harm reduction, we want to create a platform for different stakeholders to collaborate and create a public health impact. By providing scientific data and information, we want to empower the policymakers to regulate the use of harmful substances and improved accessibility along with affordability to healthier alternatives.
Harm reduction speaks a language of hope to active substance users. We, at HRRIC was formed with a clear motive to impact public health by innovating in the area of harm reduction, cessation, and healthcare. We want to empower people with the right tools and resources to enhance their knowledge on the impact of substance use, to support them to quit or switch to healthier alternatives and improve their quality of life. Backed by the scientific approach, we want to propose substitution programs and strategies that can be adopted to prevent and regulate the harms associated with problematic substance use.
